Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

Producer prices are the prices received by the producer from the buyer. They do not include subsidies on products and likewise taxes on products have not been deducted. Basic prices consist of producer prices with the addition of subsidies on prouducts, but taxes on products have been deducted. Figures for previous years hace been corrected.

Swedes (Brassica napobrassica) are included in the item other forage plants and not fresh vegetables according to the methodology used.

05 Potatoes (incl. seeds)

From 2012 onwards better information about potato production quantities and prices are available via Statistics Iceland's own data collection. Older data is thought to be less reliable and a break in the series at this point should be expected.
