Classification by branches of processing is an Icelandic classification only used for exports. The table was updated following a review in November 2020

For the year 2017 exported farmed fish should also include the category freshwater fish elsewhere which should have been classified as farmed fish processing sector. Figures for 2017 are not changed since this amount does not reach the minimum required to revise the figures to years that are finalized
