Base 2015=100. The HICP is calculated monthly by the countries in the EEA.
The HICP differs from the national CPI mainly in coverage as owner occupied housing is excluded.
European regulation (EU. 792/2016) on HICPs allows the revision of the indices.
If differences occur between the table and the original data source the latter applies.
Values for HICP in Iceland were corrected on May 19th 2022 because of an error in Ecoicop 0211 (Spirits) from January 2016 and in Ecoicop 0724 (Other services in respect of personal transport equipment) from January 2019.
