A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

Oldest figures on employed full-time and part-time refer to 1983 and cover married people working 40-52 weeks a year (full-time) and less than 40 weeks a year (part-time). Unemployment rates 1975 and 1985 refer to registered unemployment.
