Results are built on EU-SILC. Dependent children are categorized as either under the age of 18 or between 18 and 24, not employed, and living with at least one parent. Others are categorized as adults. Respondent is asked if the household has been in arrears in the past twelve months, i.e. has been unable to pay on time due to financial difficulties, mortgage repayment or rent, utility bills, or other types of loans, once or more than once. Here these categories are combined. As some households have been in more than one type of arrears the total arrears was calculated, which shows the total group in arrears.
