The data are collected from schools at the end of each semester. The data include day courses, evening courses and distance learning. Information on the journeyman's examination is derived from The Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Age relates to December 31st following the date of graduation, which is a change from previous practise, when age was shown on December 31st following the completion of the school year. A student can graduate from more than one programme during the same school year. The data are published according to the ISCED97 classification of education.
