These figures depict registered students in programmes that are a part of the annual data collection by Statistics Iceland. The data include duplicate counts. Students can be counted more than once if they are registered in different schools, in different programmes or in different modes of teaching. Programmes are classified according to the Icelandic classification of education ÍSNÁM2008, which is based on ISCED97 (International Standard Classification of Education 1997).
