The data include new entrants who are full-time students (i.e. registered for 75% or more of a full-time study load) in three year Bachelor programmes, i.e. students who have entered these programmes for the first time according to the Statistics Iceland Student Register, since its start in 1975. Only Icelandic citizens are included.
The data show how many of these new entrants were still registered students in tertiary education one year later according to the Statistics Iceland Student Register.
In addition, the number of new entrants is depicted, who graduated from the upper secondary level the same year, according to the Statistics Iceland Register of Graduations, as they entered tertiary education for the first time.
