The data refer to students at the tertiary level in Iceland in autumn 2002 who
are not studying in autumn 2003 and have not graduated in the meantime.
Some of these students may only have taken a temporary leave from
studying. When the data are broken down into subcategories there can
be large fluctuations in the percentages due to the small number of
students. Students in external learning are counted with students in distance learning.
