The data refer to personnel in universities and other schools at the tertiary level of education in November each year. Teachers include all staff members who had the occupation of a teacher in the reference month. Some personnel might be counted more than once, if they work in more than one institution, in different regions or have a different occupation. Information is collected from schools and from The State Accounting Office.
