This table was corrected 23 October 2023, due to partly missing data for 2022-2023.
The data refer to personnel in universities and other schools at the tertiary level of education in November each year. Teachers include all staff members who had the occupation of a teacher in the reference month. Each individual is only counted once. Education refers to the highest level of education attained. Information is collected from schools and from The State Accounting Office.
