These figures depict registered students in each type of school and are collected directly from the schools. The data include duplicate counts. Students can be counted more than once if they are registered in different schools, in different programs or in different modes of teaching at the same time. The coverage of the data collection has been expanded, especially between 2001 and 2002. Students in external learning are counted with students in day courses until 2000.
