Producer prices are the prices received by the producer from the buyer. They do not include subsidies on products and likewise taxes on products have not been deducted. Basic prices consist of producer prices with the addition of subsidies on prouducts, but taxes on products have been deducted. The agricultural levy was abolished in 2017. Figures for previous years hace been corrected.

As from the year 2021 swedes (Brassica napobrassica) are considered fresh vegetables but not forage plants.

05 Potatoes (incl. seeds)

From 2012 onwards better information about potato production quantities and prices are available via Statistics Iceland's own data collection. Older data is thought to be less reliable and a break in the series at this point should be expected.
