A densely-populated area is an area with over 1.500 inhabitants per square kilometer and a total population of over 50.000 in adjacent areas. Intermediate areas are defined as areas with over 300 inhabitants per square kilometer and a total population of over 5.000 in adjacent areas. Other residential areas are defined as thinly-populated areas.
