Summary of figures on emissions from industries. Here, the sectors with the highest emissions have been separated while other sectors are combined. Emissions here due to the tourist industry also count emissions from foreign tourists in the country, but this number is strictly speaking not part of the normal conversation for the economy.
In agriculture and food production, emissions from C10-C12 are added, but there are e.g. fish processing and smelting. Emissions due to the operation of fishing vessels are all in A03, despite the fact that owners may be registered in C10-C12.
Chemical production considers blocks C19-C23. A breakdown of emissions by the correct industries can be found in the data table 'Greenhouse gas emissions within Iceland's economy in full breakdown'
