Taldir eru nýnemar á háskólastigi árið 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 og 2012, þ.e. þeir sem eru í fyrsta skipti skráðir í nám á háskólastigi í nemendaskrá Hagstofu Íslands samkvæmt alþjóðlegri flokkun menntunar, ISCED97. Þessum hópi nýnema er fylgt eftir í 10 ár og tekin fyrsta útskrift þeirra af háskólastigi samkvæmt prófaskrá Hagstofu Íslands.
